RAW MATERIAL STORAGE

Types of silo

Gashor manufactures external silos with or without insulation, as well as internal silos. The silos can be made of stainless steel or single-piece fibreglass-reinforced polyester. Gashor silos have easy access to all extraction elements. We also have modular stainless steel inner silos and flexible fabric silos made of KoSa®HOCHFEST polyester fabric and mounted on a metal structure.

All our silos have safety features and comply with ATEX regulations. We can also install magnetic traps, sifters and other food defence elements at the customer's request.

Type of extraction

Depending on the ingredient stored and the type of dispensation designed, Gashor supplies different extraction systems:

  1. Planetary extraction: Uniform extraction system with mass flow to avoid the minimum creation of vaults. By means of an Archimedes screw, which sweeps the bottom, the product is swept towards the rotary lock in the centre.
  2. Extraction by vibration: The product is dispensed very precisely by the action of the vibrator or beater, which pushes it to the mouth, where it then enters the vacuum pump.
  3. Fluidization: With a fluidized bed, we use a constant air flow to extract the material without damaging it.
